Things you need to know when relocating to Cyprus

How will your UK Pension be taxed when you retire in North Cyprus?
Your UK pensions will still be taxable in the UK when you move abroad unless there?s a ?double taxation agreement? (covering pensions) with the country where you live. If there is an agreement, you?ll usually pay tax in that country. There is no solid double tax agreement between the UK and North Cyprus, meaning your pension will be taxed in the UK as if you are resident in the UK. Northern Cyprus Title Deeds & Their Legal Standing
A concern of foreign buyers of real estate in North Cyprus is the safety of purchasing property built on land with TRNC title deeds. These are deeds for land that was owned by Greek Cypriots prior to 1974, but which was appropriated by the North Cyprus authorities after civil unrest led to the movement and subsequent separation of the Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot communities into northern and southern Cyprus respectively.
